Uitreiking Verdoornprijs

Tijdens het NVMP-symposium Hoe beïnvloeden democratie, kernwapens en klimaatverandering elkaar? op zaterdag 22 november in Amersfoort, werd door Herman Spanjaard, voorzitter van de Stichting Studiefonds Medische Polemologie (SSMP), de Verdoornprijs uitgereikt aan Angelika Claußen, MD PhD Duo Regional Vice President Europe of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), in honor of her long-term dedication to the medical aspects of nuclear war, including health, humanitarian, societal and environmental consequences, and their scientific basis.
